The Peoples Church is a new church that meets in the cinema at Crosshands, Carmarthenshire. The purpose of the church is to help to extend the Kingdom of God in West Wales by demonstrating in a vital way the relevancy of the Christian faith for today’s people. The leadership team of The Peoples Church includes John Macey and Ron Williams who are pastors of the Elim Pentecostal Churches in the United Kingdom.
“We want the whole community to see that the Christian message has something powerful to offer everyone and that it is relevant to all our situations and needs. We are conscious of the pressures that many individuals and families feel in these days and the consequent problems these often bring and we want The Peoples Church to show in a practical way how a living relationship with Christ can make all the difference in someone’s life,” says John Macey .
Pastor Ron Williams says, “Many areas of society and culture are breaking down and people are left to fend for themselves. We want them to know there is always a way out of their crises, and we want to help them find that way through Jesus Christ.”
The Peoples Church is linked with The City Temple, Swansea, the home of the Elim Church.
